Christina Carney, MBA, FACHE, is the Chief Operating Officer of SIHF Healthcare, based in Sauget, IL, a network of 31 Federal Qualified Health Centers across 11 counties in southern Illinois, providing comprehensive integrated primary care, behavioral health, and dental services to underserved and vulnerable patient populations.
Prior to joining SIHF Healthcare, Christina was the Administrative Director of Care Network for SSM Health – Illinois, overseeing population health initiatives for a regional pod of hospitals and physicians participating in one of the country’s largest Accountable Care Organizations. She also worked as an executive consultant and Lean Advisor for Tiller Hewitt HealthCare Strategies, working with hospital CEOs, physicians, facility managers and their teams to streamline access to care and improve processes to maximize delivery of quality services. Christina has also held positions in hospital and service line administration, overseeing clinical and support departments within hospitals and multi-hospital systems.
Christina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Christina is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the ACHE National Membership Committee and former recipient of the Central/Southern Illinois ACHE Regent Award. |
