Thursday, June 7, 2007 – Our Chapter meeting began with a welcome by our new Chapter President, Janice Samberg, FACHE. Agenda items covered at the meeting included: The Regent’s report, the Treasurer’s Report and an announcement that we are now a fully Chartered Chapter. Other items included an update on the Chapter Choice Implementation and a request to establish an Education Committee. Finally, a survey was taken to determine interest in upcoming ACHE Category I Continuing Education Sessions. The meeting concluded in one hour at which time Sheila Brune, our guest speaker, presented a powerful topic titled, “When Knowledge Isn’t Enough – a Daughter’s Story.” Ms. Brune is a registered nurse and is a well-known speaker on various clinical improvement and risk management topics. Ms. Brune’s topic was very well received. If interested further in her presentation or her Living History Program, she can be contacted at sbrune@mhtlc.org.
